The IDS OPTEX BXS Shield Wired Outdoor PIR, with a 24m dual long-range design and independent left and right detection zones, delivers precise and dependable outdoor motion protection. This advanced sensor is engineered for residential, commercial, and industrial perimeter security, making it ideal for long driveways, walkways, building sides, and narrow boundary lines. Because it features independent L&R zones, the BXS Shield allows you to customise each side separately, ensuring accurate detection exactly where you need it.

Independent Left & Right Detection Zones

One of the key advantages of the IDS OPTEX BXS Shield is its independently adjustable left and right zones. Each zone offers up to 12m of long-range detection, providing a total coverage of 24 meters. Moreover, this dual-zone configuration reduces false alarms by ensuring that motion must occur within the defined detection area before triggering an alert. Additionally, you can fine-tune zone sensitivity to match your property layout, improving overall reliability.

Dual PIR Technology for Accurate Detection

Equipped with advanced dual PIR sensors, the BXS Shield accurately differentiates human movement from environmental disturbances. The two PIR elements enhance stability and reduce false triggers caused by wind, vegetation, or sudden temperature changes. Furthermore, its intelligent signal processing helps maintain detection accuracy even in challenging outdoor conditions, ensuring your alarm system responds only to genuine threats.

Built for Harsh Outdoor Environments

Designed for durability, the BXS Shield features a weather-resistant housing that protects internal components from rain, dust, heat, and UV exposure. The wired setup ensures consistent and reliable communication with your alarm system, eliminating issues commonly associated with wireless interference. Therefore, it provides long-lasting, uninterrupted performance with minimal maintenance.
